Some flexibility in our time of arrival for scheduled appointments is necessary. We will give you a window of time for our arrival, but may be slightly early or late depending on the location and nature of appointments prior to yours. We will call if our arrival time varies from your assigned appointment window.
You should generally call several days in advance to schedule appointments. If you need to reschedule or cancel, 24 hours notice is required to avoid a charge.
Please have your pet on a leash or confined in a small area prior to your appointment time. All appointments, examinations, treatments and procedures will take place inside the mobile clinic unless prior arrangements have been made.
Keeping you and your pet as comfortable as possible during this difficult time is very important to us. We try to answer all of your questions and let you know what to expect before hand so you can focus on your pet.
We will normally come inside the home or yard for this service, but it can also be performed in the mobile clinic if you prefer.
You can keep your pet afterward and make your own arrangements for burial or cremation, or we can transport your pet after the euthanasia.
Dr. Moffatt provides this service during the week and on the weekend as her schedule allows.
Includes presedation of your pet, extra charges for extended travel
We will take your pet afterwards for cremation at Dixie Memorial Pet Gardens, but no ashes will be returned to you.
If you would like ashes returned to you in an urn or other container, you need to contact the crematory directly for pricing and arrangements. We frequently work with DIxie Memorial Pet Gardens, but will coordinate with your preferred crematory. We are able to transport the pet after the euthanasia if you would like. Other options are pick up at home by the crematory or you may transport the pet there yourself.
You must contact the crematory to make cremation arrangements.
Please send us a message for an appointment. We are difficult to reach by phone because we are often in the middle of an appointment when you call. Text or email is best. WE ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE.
